On the 21st of May, 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 marked a significant milestone – one year of our incorporation. It has been a year of growth, learning, and meaningful connections. Through various engagements, we’ve not only enhanced our professional and personal journeys but also built a powerful sense of community – one where we have made new friends and support, cheer and celebrate each other.

To mark this special occasion, we gathered on the 31st of May at The Nutcracker in Bandra. Over cake, thoughtful conversations, and shared laughter, we took time to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate the spirit that defines our community, thus creating some beautiful new memories that further bonded us.

The celebration continued with a cultural outing to the Hindi play 𝘌𝘬 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘲𝘢𝘢𝘵, which movingly portrays the complex, unfulfilled love between two literary legends—Sahir Ludhianvi, one of India’s greatest poets and film lyricists, and Amrita Pritam, a pioneering novelist and poet, revered as the first prominent female voice in Punjabi literature.

The stellar performances by Shekhar Suman and Geetika Tyagi, directed by Saif Hyder Hasan, brought this poignant story to life. Adding a special touch to the evening was Shekhar Suman, who graciously met with members of Only Women backstage after the show, and personally thanked us for attending the opening night of the play’s new edition.

This anniversary was a celebration of everything we have built together — milestones, memories and meaningful connections. It was an evening that perfectly reflected the essence of 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧.
