She holds Masters Degrees in Engineering and Business Administration and has been in the industry for over 38 years. She has been a missile scientist with the Defense Research and Development Organization for over a decade working on multiple mission critical defense programs such as AGNI and AKAASH where she also worked under Dr. Abdul Kalam’s leadership.

Prameela became the Indian IT industry’s First Woman COO in 2019 while with Zensar Technologies. She has led multiple global leadership portfolios spanning across Software Deliveries, Sales & Marketing, Enterprise Presales, Strategy and Human Resources. Prameela is now leading Mastek’s Gen AI led Enterprise Transformation Journey

 Prameela is an alumnus of the London School of Economics and the Indian School of Business. She was awarded the Rising CEO Award for 2015 and the ‘Woman in Tech’ Award by ISG in 2019.

Prameela is a member of the Executive Council of WILL, the Women In Leadership Forum. She is a strong advocate of Inclusive and balanced Leadership and has been actively mentoring and coaching women leaders.

To add to her versatile profile, she is also an adrenaline enthusiast and enjoys Scuba diving, Sky diving and Bungy jumping.
