Arati began her career with Films Division, a government of India undertaking before she decided to move to private media houses like Zee Telefilms and UTV, where she was Head of the Corporate Communications divisions. An excellent Public Relations professional specialising in entertainment lifestyle, she soon launched Perception Managers, her own PR agency in the entertainment and lifestyle space. A well-known name when it comes to delivering 360-degree entertainment marketing and PR, she steers her company in creating ever-new yardsticks in her chosen field. Hindi films, Hollywood films, celebrity PR, music and television, brand endorsements, in-film placements, media planning and image management are her areas of expertise.

Some of her clients have stayed with her for over one-and-a-half decade.

A workaholic, Arati ventured into film production in 2024 and her first film will release this year. She has already begun working on her second film.

On the rare occasions when she is not busy planning her new endeavour, you can see her sitting at restaurants, having a heart-to-heart chat with her friends.
